The fit between the coupling and the shaft generally adopts a transitional fit, which may result in a small amount of interference or clearance. For couplings with longer wheel hubs, a looser transitional fit can be used. Due to the longer shaft holes, rough and uneven surface processing will naturally cause partial interference after assembly. When disassembling the coupling, the coupling manufacturer should not directly use a hammer to strike it, but should pad it with a copper rod.
Turn on the hub of the coupling instead of the outer edge of the coupling, as this area is prone to damage. When tapping the end face of the shaft hole, it is easy to cause the shaft hole to shrink, so that the shaft cannot pass through; Knocking on the outer edge of the wheel can easily damage the flatness of the end face, and using a feeler gauge to align it in the future will affect the accuracy of the measurement. For couplings with large interference, they should be heated before installation.
The joints with power input terminals are respectively connected to the upper and lower ends of the main connecting shaft. At the connection between the two joints and the upper and lower ends of the main connecting shaft, both joints are hub structures with spline teeth grooves. The upper and lower ends of the main connecting shaft are spline shaft structures with key teeth. The key teeth at the top, side, and root of the key teeth at the upper and lower ends of the main connecting shaft are drum shaped, and the key teeth at the upper and lower ends of the main connecting shaft are respectively inserted into the spline grooves of the two joints that are matched with them.
For a straight shaft, the key should be placed into the keyway on the shaft, and the key end should not protrude or sink into the shaft end. It is best to be flush. The installation plate should be placed in the oil groove for heating, and after heating and insulation, attention should be paid to quickly installing it on the shaft according to the required position mark. The installation plate should be flush with the shaft end. Before installation, carefully check the inner hole of the installation disc and the outer diameter of the shaft to ensure that the surface is clean and free of burrs.
